At Infinite Roofing, Managing Director Austin Jonasen and his team are committed to giving Brisbane business owners a straight answer about their roof: what is wrong, what it will take to fix, and how the work will fit around the business. Every job starts with an inspection, and you receive a clear quote with no hidden fees.
Commercial roofing means replacing, repairing or installing the roof on a business property such as a warehouse, factory, retail store or office. It is different from residential roofing in three ways. The roofs are much larger, people are often still working or trading underneath, and buildings from before 1990 may have asbestos cement sheeting that must be removed safely.
Our office is at Unit 5/47 Musgrave Road, Coopers Plains, on Brisbane’s south side.
We make commercial roofing simple, efficient, and stress-free.
We assess your roof to identify issues and recommend the best solution.
No hidden fees. No pressure. Clear and honest pricing.
We work around your business operations to minimise disruption.
Our team delivers high-quality workmanship that meets all safety and compliance standards.
When a warehouse roof is past repair, we strip the old sheeting and install new metal roofing to the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards, with compliance documentation provided at handover. Work can be staged in sections so stock, staff and equipment stay protected.
Leaks in a warehouse can damage stock and stop operations. We locate the source, repair or replace damaged sheets, flashings and fixings, and make the roof watertight after storm damage.
Many warehouses and factories built before 1990 have asbestos cement roofing. Infinite Roofing is licensed to remove asbestos roofing, so removal, containment and disposal are handled in-house as part of the re-roof.
Old polycarbonate sheets go yellow, brittle and unsafe to walk near. We replace them to restore natural light and weatherproofing.
Uninsulated metal roofs make warehouses hot and noisy. We install roof insulation during re-roofing or as a standalone upgrade to help reduce heat build-up and noise inside the building.
Are you constructing a new commercial building? We provide top-notch commercial work for all types of businesses from retail to industrial space.
If your roof is starting to age, re-roofing could be the best investment you make.
See our Commercial Roof Replacement page for how we plan staged re-roofs on buildings that stay open during the work.
Not on a completely flat roof, but it can go on a very low-pitch roof. Concealed-fix profiles such as LYSAGHT KLIP-LOK can be installed down to 1 degree (1 in 50) in 0.48 mm BMT steel. If the roof deck is dead flat, new framing is needed to create fall, or a membrane system is the better option.
Yes. Metal roofing sheets typically weigh around 10 to 15 kg per square metre, while a built-up roof with bitumen layers and gravel commonly weighs around 24 to 34 kg per square metre. The actual weight depends on the number of layers, the gravel and the insulation, so the existing structure should be checked before any change of roof system.
It depends on the product and the site’s environment, which is why BlueScope sets its warranty by location. In the best conditions, BlueScope warrants COLORBOND steel roofing for up to 36 years and ZINCALUME steel for up to 30 years against corrosion to perforation. Those maximum terms only apply where the roof is at least 5 degrees pitch, fully lined and more than 5 km from salt water, so sites near Moreton Bay, the Brisbane River or industrial fallout may get a shorter term or need a different product. We check your site against BlueScope’s warranty conditions during the quote.
Often, yes. The existing built-up roof is removed and new metal sheeting is fixed to purlins set at or above the profile’s minimum pitch, which may mean new framing on a flat deck. An engineer’s check of the structure is recommended before work starts.
Both are BlueScope steels; COLORBOND® steel adds a paint system to the metallic-coated base. In the best conditions, COLORBOND® steel carries a longer maximum perforation warranty (up to 36 years vs up to 30 years for ZINCALUME®) plus up to 20 years on the paint. COLORBOND® also offers light and reflective colours, including COOLMAX®, for heat control. For sites near the coast or in heavy industrial areas, BlueScope recommends checking product suitability, as COLORBOND® Ultra or stainless steel may be required.
